About Us
SCAA’s Mission: To train young athletes to run competitively at all distances and compete successfully in technical field events; in the principles of track and field; and in the discipline of cross country while providing an athletic and educational experience.
SOUTH CENTRAL ATHLETIC PROGRAM
Since 1976, South Central Athletic Association (SCAA) has offered a nationally recognized, track & field and running program for student-athletes from ages 5 - 18. Our goal is to improve individual athletic performances, provide athletes with national exposure, establish a training regimen to prepare athletes for college, provide access to academic tutoring in mathematics, science language arts, and the SAT exam, and build a strong scholastic foundation for success in college. Preparation is one of the keys to success and SCAA will prepare all student athletes for the challenge life presents.
SCAA provides athletes an opportunity to experience junior world-class competition. The outdoor track season begins in March and concludes with the last local developmental track meet in June. The competitive season offers an exciting number of local meets held throughout the Pacific Northwest and out-of-town trips that emphasize sports and cultural experiences enhancing the lives of athletes, like the world-renowned Track City Meet in Eugene, OR, and the Junior Olympic National competition.
South Central Athletic Association is a 501c(3) organization, all donations are tax deductible.
